Freakish, Microwaved Xbox 360 makes me squirm

Artist Kenny Irwin has experience microwaving video game consoles. His latest work is this Xbox 360 Elite; microwaved and placed with numerous, grotesque looking eye balls.

He is selling it for $31,002 and is donating half the proceeds to the Council on American-Islamic Relations of California.

Here is a link to the auction for the chard console on Ebay.

A Silent Hill play? I'd watch.

I have never payed any title in the Silent Hill series, but I sure plan to. Maybe when I get a new Playstation 2 later....way later.
I would also love to see the Swedish stage play of Silent Hill.

A cover of it over on Kotaku shows a young man standing in front of what appears to be the infamous Cone Head, a reoccurring enemy in the series.

Pretty good read

I had picked up a comic the other day because of the title. It was Gears of War.

I had played and finished the two main titles for the Xbox 360, but I hadn't reached forward towards the other media that had been released for the franchise. I just finished reading this copy, it is the 10 comic in the series.

It is a fairly good read, nothing too interesting but it has the gritty, war ridden feel that Gears of War conveys. It is a good read and any Gears fan should definitly pick these up.

The fine art of dual monitors

Recently, I've been finding a number of applications that allow me to make myself a more productive student with the use of my two monitors. I use a Lenovo T400 laptop and a random 26" tv I purchased at Wal-Mart before I left for school.

I bought a cord early in the year that allowed me to connect the two. I hadn't known of the potential of the two items together until now. I downloaded such applications as Edgeless, John's Background Switcher, Virtuawin, and Displayfusion in order to enhance my two screens and my work load.  I learned that with all these apps in hand, my work was actually getting done.

I am still working on my set up. The picture above is from a week ago and I have changed a few things to make it more comfortable and neat, but the wire problem I have under the desk is something that will take me a while to figure out.

The baby breifcase that shouldn't be

Ever wanted a case for your baby that does everything a parent does, other than give love and affection to a needy child? Well you are in luck, dear parent, as Pouyan Mokhtarani has designed a special carriage that is something like a Saw-like death-trap but designed specifically for the child's safety and less work for the parent.

It has an LED screen so the baby sees you and you see them along with a communicator system to transfer all the googly woogly babble most babies love to hear. The "pod" has several doors to keep your baby confined, comfortable and safe. It even has its own ventilation system to bring in fresh air for the youngster. THERE IS A AUTO POOPER SCOOPER!!!!! This machine is amazing, and I don't even have a child.

You can find the layouts and a better description at yankodesign.com

Fog your computer screen with a little Steam

Gamers find many different ways to play the video games they love. Some play on consoles like Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii in front of their wall-sized HD TV's while others play in front of a PC monitor with their keyboard and mouse in hand ready to raid another dungeon or kick some zombie hide.

The console gamers have their own platforms to play on, being the systems themselves, but what do PC gamers have? They have the famous and most used platform, Steam. Steam is an online video game platform that hosts video game downloads such as full games, demos, trailers, screenshots and a wide variety of information on the games it has available. Steam users create an online account, download the desktop program, and that is it, time to shop.

Speaking of shopping, buying a game on Steam is as simple as putting in a valid credit or debit card information, placing a game in your virtual "cart" and checking out. One can buy a game for them self or they have an alternate option to buy a game for someone as a gift and send it to them via email or through the Steam platform itself. Once the purchased game downloads, which can take from 20 to a couple of hours for a game to download depending on the size of the install, gamers can be on their way towards playing some fantastic games such as Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle Deluxe, Fallout 3, Borderlands, and Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Games run just as good or even better than they do if they were on an install disk. On a Lenovo Thinkpad model T400 laptop with 4 gigs of ram and 140 gig hard drive, games run fairly well. Certain games like Fallout 3 or Borderlands might need a better PC for them to run smoothly, but they worked very proficiently while smaller games like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Peggle Deluxe ran extremely smooth with the occasional slow down, but those are few and far between.

There are other platforms such as Direct-2-Drive and Amazon, which is not really considered a platform but it still allows gamers to download online versions of a large variety of video games. Steam still tops them off however due to the great deals they release every weekend which can start from 10 percent off a game with bonus content to even 50 percent off a pack of video games. Black Friday gave gamers a glimpse at the best deals on Steam that included a pack of games that totaled almost $400 but it was cut by nearly 75 percent.

Some PC gamers don’t have the luxury of owning top notch rigs that allow them to play almost realistic games such as Fallout 3 or Crysis, but they do all have a steady and stable platform to play video games together as a growing and powerful community, and it is known as Steam.

Announcement: no more Nintendo DS reviews

Why are there no more Nintendo DS reviews?

I sold my Nintendo DS Lite and all the games I had for it in order to take my girlfriend out on a date before I left for my university. I will still be making my PC video game reviews and maybe I might review some of the great applications I find online on the blog and in the student campus newspaper.

We shall see what happens in the future times but for now, The Random Robo Profile is back in action with the loss of a great friend. R.I.P Nintendo DS Lite. We will miss you.

Apple: Bias against competition creates competition

Apple is one of the leading providers in multimedia. They’ve created some of the sleekest and most powerful laptops and desktops. They’ve developed such gadgetry as Apple TV and the numerous versions of iPods.

The iPod Touch and iPhone has allowed developers to create applications that change the way we view reality and live our daily lives. Developers can create almost anything on the little devices such as social networking apps like Facebook, MySpace, Bump, and Twitterrific or video games like Peggle, Madden 10, Drop 7, and Karmastar. It allows users to manage their lives in the palm of their hands.

Recently, Apple has been denying some apps. It has been questioned by most gadget enthusiasts, and it appears that Apple may be biased towards competition.
Google voice, one of the many apps Google has created, allows users to make phones calls through a generated number. Google tried to release a version of the app onto the iPhone, but was shot down by Apple, who decides what applications go onto their iTunes App Store. Every app has to go through Apple’s screening process before being approved or denied. Apple not only denied the application, but pulled other already approved apps like it. This disapproval of the app could lean heavily on the fact that the app would have been competition against the main functionality of the iPhone.

Apple also rejected a dictionary application, Ninjawords, for not meeting the required rating settings, which required the app to have a 17+ rating. Apple has some fault in this because they were not clear about the rules and regulations about their censorship and rating policies.

Apple has denied applications which do not coincide with their own application functionality or accidentally went past their policies, even when it is partially their fault. Apple will, however, release a number of fart-emulating applications and apps with almost naked women in them, such as “Attack of the Zombie Bikini Babes from Outer Space” or “Asian Boobs”.

As Apple denies other companies’ apps from their devices, the companies are either looking at other spaces to place their virtual products or even making their own platforms. Research In Motion has their Blackberry App World for Blackberry users. Palm is working on their own app pool for developers to swim through. Windows is also producing an app store of their own inside Windows Mobile. They are even attempting to capture iPhone users by gaining popular iPhone apps onto their own platform.

Apple will still stay around the top and it probably won’t lose a massive amount of customers. Apple has, however, not only given incentive for current users to switch to another platform to find their app needs, it also put itself on the same playing field as other top media companies like Microsoft, Palm, and RIM.
Varity has become a bigger name in the app industry and everybody is working to give you, the customer, just about anything.

The Key is within your Heart: Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Review

How would you feel if you found out you’re secretly a mirror image of a person with a mind full of memories that are not yours? Roxas, one of the main characters in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, has to live with that reality every minute of his eventful life.
This new installment in the Kingdom Hearts timeline has you playing as Roxas, a copy of Sora, the main character within all of the Kingdom Hearts games before 385/2 Days, who is trying to find out about himself while unraveling the intent of Organization XIII and the search for Kingdom Hearts, which are the key to the Organization’s plan.
Game play is just like the Playstation 2 versions of Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. The controls are pretty solid: you move with the directional pad while attacking with A, jumping with Y, and navigating the menus with X. You control the camera with the R and L buttons. Touch screen integration is almost non-existent. There is nothing new to the game play, but for fans that enjoyed the style of controls in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, you will be pretty content with these.

There are some new features in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, such as the new panel system. Before, the player would have to go into different menus to equip abilities, magic, and equipment. Now, players use panels for everything. These panels have slots where you put items and abilities you earn through missions. These slots are filled with abilities like fire, blizzard or thunder or roll, dodge and block. Items such as potions and elixers can be added. The successfulness of the mission depends on how well you’ve fitted your panels and with what skills you’ve given yourself.
The missions are the meat of the game. You continue the story through missions which the Organization gives you as days go by. There are a variety of ways to play these missions, like search and destroy or sneak around town to grab intel before the civilians spot you. The game play in this title is enough to keep a hard core fan satisfied while keeping new comers a little confused.
The graphics are pretty decent for a DS title. They are, at times, muddy in appearance, but overall moderate. The cut scenes themselves look like they came out of the PS2 titles and they also include voiceover which was something of a surprise.
The bond that drives the story is between Roxas, Axel, and Xion. The whole timeline between Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2 has been pretty unclear so far, but now its revealed what occurs to the fourteenth member of Organization XIII and Roxas, along with his relationship with Axel.
A person’s heart is what makes them a person, without it they are nobody. Kingdom Hearts 385/2 Days is a game about nobodies who are looking for a heart, while some are looking for a purpose. Kingdom Hearts fans who are looking for a deeper look at what really happened inside of Organization XIII and also want to see what happened between Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories will find a great experience in 358/2 Days.

Will Apple approve Mozilla's secret iPhone app?

Mozilla is releasing a new, secret iPhone application in a few weeks.

Om Malik of gigaom.com interviewed John Lilly, CEO of Mozilla, at the Play conference, a discussion organized by the students of Haas School of Business at the university of Berkeley. Lilly told Malik about a new app that Mozilla is working on for the iPhone. “Mozilla will release an app to the iPhone App Store in the next few weeks," Lilly said, “It’ll surprise people.”

He also talked with Mozilla's Vice President of Mobile Jay Sullivan who, along with Lilly, hinted at the app being Weave, a project Mozilla started a few years ago that was created for users who want to store their history and bookmarks in Mozilla's servers.

Apple has a reputation for denying any apps that compete with its own. Weave would be stepping on the toes of MobileMe, another "cloud" system that Apple uses to share media through their hardware.

Apple released new app feature:In-App Purchases for free apps

Applications in Apple's app store now have In-App purchases.

Buyers who purchased the "lite" version of an app and upgraded had to download a new app all together. Now, users can buy an app right from the app and it will turn from the lite version into the paid version.

Developers have also released some of their premium apps for free.

The Update: First Log

The Update is a post I just created where I will be posting my next planned article. The last one was my Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days review. Maybe my next review will be on Bowser's Inside Story. I've been meaning to buy that game for a while, but...well...no luck. That was The Update.

Sidekick data officially gone

T-mobile and Danger, the Sidekick data services provider, announced yesterday that Sidekick users who have lost media due to the data failure will most likely not get it back

T-mobile, as posted on their forums, said "Regrettably, based on Microsoft/Danger's latest recovery assessment of their systems, we must now inform you that personal information stored on your device - such as contacts, calendar entries, to-do lists or photos - that is no longer on your Sidekick almost certainly has been lost as a result of a server failure at Microsoft/Danger. That said, our teams continue to work around-the-clock in hopes of discovering some way to recover this information..."

Facebook and Youtube have technical issues.

Youtube and Facebook are both having a pretty bad Saturday.

Youtube is having problems with videos creating downtime, even with embeded ones.

Facebook is also having trouble with it's updates not updating.

Hopefully this problem will be finished soon because I want to watch more Michael Jackson videos and posting on Facebook that I favorited "Scream."

iPhone 3GS users having battery trouble

iPhone 3GS users who purchased the latest update, version 3.1, have experienced a substantial battery issue.

Apple has started taking measures to fixing this issue by calling individuals who have the problem and asking 11 battery-specific questions. They are also releasing a non-apple branded battery tracker that takes information from the iPhone's and transfers it to iTunes where Apple can take a look at it.

Scribblenauts Review: Words can solve anything

A young girl is standing beside her home, crying. You see her and you look up and see a poor, defenseless kitty stuck on the roof of the building. You must find a way to reunite the two. You type in “wings” and a pair of white, feathery wings appear and you equip them, fly up to the roof, grab the cute kitten and bring it to the little girl. Along with praise you obtain a Starite. That is just one out of more than 200 puzzles you must solve in Scribblenauts, 5thCell’s newly released Nintendo DS title.

The game puts you in the role of Maxwell. You help people using a special notepad. The note pad allows anything you input into it, such as “dragon” or “pie” to come to life. This ingenious idea won 5thCell, the developers, an award for most original game out of E3’09.

There are over 200 levels for players to use their vocabulary and imagination to solve puzzles. There are two game modes. One has you finding ways to reveal the magical starites which are in each level of the game. The second mode already has the starite shown, the player just has to find a way to obtain it.

There are many scenarios to choose from that include helping a fireman and police officer find the tools they need to get their jobs done or as simple as helping a man find some nourishment in the hot desert. But creativity is the key to finding solutions to these problems. Instead of just creating a bottle of water for the thirsty man, you can give him a glass of juice, create a “fire

hydrant” and a “hose” and blast him with refreshing boosts of water or you can even create a “sea” and drop it near him for a longer lasting, refreshing place to relax. There are any different ways to help the people in the Scribblenaut’s world, you just have to use the power of words.

The art design is built with adorableness in mind. The characters are built in this sort of makeshift cardboard, paper and nail mixture with bright colors and wonderful music that make it appealing to all ages.

You can buy extras, like skins for Maxwell and extra music for the game, at the Ollar Store. There, you spend the points you receive after completing a puzzle. There are other features such as the level editor. Players can create their own worlds and share them through a Wi-Fi connection with other Scribblenaut players.

Scribblenauts does have the thumbs up for creativity and originality, but the controls are lacking any of that. You use the bottom screen to interact with the world, things you create and move Maxwell all at the same time. It can get very frustrating when you’re trying to move Maxwell to a basket and place a flower in it for a woman while at the same time trying to battle a bee. Sometimes, Maxwell does not want to go where you want him to or do the things the game wants you to do because the controls are so cracked, it can get frustrating at times.

Scribblenauts is a creative skid mark on the road of originality that won’t go away for a while. The game is so packed with hours upon hours of game play that it will be almost impossible to mix every single creation in the game with each other in one life time. The only downside to it is the controls, which are a little clunky, but that still won’t take the fun-factor away from anyone who manages to grab this at their local game store. If you’re looking for a fun, original game that will suck hours of your life away from you, let it be Scribblenauts.

Zune HD games will be free, but not commercial free.

Micrsoft has released a handfull of free video games on its Zune HD, but before you get to play them your going to see an ad.

These ads may last for 30 seconds or so. Microsoft will also be releasing silverlight-powered ads on Xbox Live too.

All these ads in the works. Hopefully, they stay before the game starts instead of in-game.

New Keyboard for iPhone looks like a waste of $30

iTwinge, a new holster for the iPhone uses battery power from the device in order to use the tangible keyboard in order to make typing easier. According to Gizmodo, the keyboard doesn't just fail as a keyboard, it also makes the iPhone a repulsive looking piece of work. Chip Chick and Engadget also took a gander at the accessory and there is one thing good about the device. It may cause errors to decrease substantially.
Would you iPhone users consider buying this for all your typing, error-less needs?

I'm seeing a new iPod in my future

Apple has released some brand new features in their iPods and I'm just so tempted to grab a new one.

I currently own an iPod Tocuh 1st generation. It has lasted with me for about 2-3 years, but I believe it is time for a change, and Apple has made it very easy for me to make a decisoin.

Apple has recently released their fifth genteration of iPods which include the iPod Touch and Ipod Nano.
The New iPod Touch has some new features like the new Genius menu in the app store, which creates a list of reccomended apps based on what the individual has downloaded previously. There are also some performance and graphic upgrades in the new 32GB and 64 GB versions of the Touch.

The new Nano has some generous features itself which include the addition of a video camera on the back, an FM radio tuner which has a feature that allows users to pause live radio for future listening without missing a song and a slightly larger screen. The addition of a radio tuner and video camera make it a competitor in a brand new market and a better value in the eyes of consumers.

I may just scrounge up the funds for a Nano sometime this month, hopefully.

Skype may still have some apps left in the bag

A few days ago, it was announced that Skype will no longer be supporting apps for the online communications service. But there are still some applicaitons that won't entirly be kicking the bucket.
The applications Pamela, an app that allows users to record conversations over Skype, and PamFax, another application that allows a Skype user to fax another Skype user, will still be up and running. These add-ons will be finding some way to support themselves and still be able to work with Skype some time in the near future.
Skype's apps are going to dissapear, but be sure that there are people out there who are working hard for you to have some of those apps around.

Don’t be too weary, Microsoft Word users

Microsoft word is in danger of being taken off the shelves for a couple of months, but not until later in the month.

The Microsoft corp. was able to stall the injunction place on it by i4i, a company built on design and development of future technologies and holder of the XML patent that Microsoft uses.

A district court in Texas placed the injunction on Microsoft, which ordered that it pull Word, a document creating software, off the shelves because it was violating the XML patent.

With the stay placed on the injunction, Microsoft has until Sept. 23 to find a solution to this problem which can damage not only the company, but the consumers who use Microsoft Word on a daily basis.

Social Networking sites: is it a mindless tool for people to “keep in touch” and comment on pictures or a great resource?

People use different ways to communicate with other people around the world. Some people send letters while others use telephones. The internet, as well, is a growing player in the world of social networking.

There a number of different sites people can use to stay connected with one another such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and FriendFeed. These sites have become more than just a way to talk with one’s friend about how their day was and the current gossip, they can also be used for education.

Education does not just have to deal with teachers talking non-stop or text books with 12 point font. Social Networking sites have become more purposeful by creating applications which can help students, from all ages, organize, learn and advance.
Applications have been used for many things, like quizzing others, wasting time and educating while making it fun and interactive. There are applications like Notely, an application on Facebook that allows students to schedule events, create lists for organizing tests, exams and even homework. Another application, Courses, allows users to post schedules for classes. It also allows students to create message boards where they can discuss issues and topics brought up in class, it even includes video chat.

Amanda Trujillo, an archeology major of the 2013 class of Potsdam University, believes that social networking sites are just a great way for her and friends to communicate with each other over the internet. Asia Hancock, an avid user of social networking sites, states that they are just used to “communicate, meet new people” and relieve people like herself from boredom.

People of all ages use social networking sites to keep in touch and stay connected with the world around them, but it is becoming something of a way to educate students, keep them organized and help them succeed. Social networking is not just a communicator, it is also an educator.

What is up with the hands?

I found this article on Gizmodo just now that creeped me out worse than my parents when they dance.

The picture of these robotic hands that are fixing themselves. It is creepishly artistic in my eyes. Sort of beautiful...I may be weird for this.

Here is the link to the picture and caption.

Want some LG on your wrist? Go to London.

LG made available their line of wristphones, in London! Why wouldn't they do it here? Because they hate me.

The LG GD910, the watch/phone, went on shelves over at the Orange Shop around Bond Street Station in London.

There porbably isn't anything there close to a watchphone by now, but you can try if you like.

Click the title for a link to Engadget, or you can just click Engadget.

Zune HD Is Bright And Light

This is what appears to be the Zune HD and well...the packaging is hard NOT to notice. Do you agree?

World of Warcrat, here I come!

I bought World of Warcraft today.

I decided to get it because I had some spare change and I needed something to do. Now that I'm in college, I understand how boring it is when there is absolutely nothing to do. So I said "OMG! MY SCHOOL'S STORE HAS WARCRAFT!" in my head and I left.

Once I returned with the copy and a pack of index cards, I popped the disk in. I didn't know I needed a credit or debit card. Now I have to wait for my card to come in. This is just great. Just f**king great.

360 Slimming Up Their Elite Prices

Microsoft has laid the smack down on Sony today, who just recently announced their new model of the Playstation 3, PS3 Slim.

An ad from Walmart was spotted revealing Microsoft's kick in the face to Sony; An Xbox 360 Elite priced at $299. $299 is the same price as the upcoming PS3 Slim, coming out around the end of this summer.

This is just another ass-whooping from Microsoft to Sony in the console war. How will Sont retaliate? A Playstation that can whisper sweet nothings in my ear, give a great massage and whip-up an awesome Pina Collada? Maybe that's just me dreaming.

I am a Gamer

I will state it now, even though I think I should of stated it earlier. I am a gamer.

There are two kinds of gamers. There are the gamers that play games for fun and enjoyment with their families and there are the gamers that play for honor and sport. I am the later.

I've owned a number of systems in my life starting with the super nintendo. Now I'm up to the Nintendo DS Lite. I had an Xbox 360, but it perished and I'm trying to earn the funds to get a new one.

Hardcore Gamer, I am. Tech Nerd, I am.

Facebook reign over the internet has begun!

Facebook recently bought friendfeed, a social networking site where one can create a news feed out of their friend's updates from Facebook, Google and Twitter.

They also recently added a search function to the site that allows a reader to search for specific information, like news updates, through the web and their own friends.

An idea scurrying around is that Facebook might just be trying to step their A-game up in the social networking world, even finding its way up to the popularity that Twitter flocks with.

Another implied thought is that Facebook is trying to beat its way into a future search engine or none-the-less, become a Google clone of some kind, like a kid admiring a hero so much he would dress up like him to a comparable extent.

What the hell was Nintendo thinking when they were patenting this idea?

A Euorpean Nintendo patent was revealed recently that just made me think so negative, its horrible.

The patent is a game where you ride horses, dolphins or gryphon's using this contraption that is an inflatable cushion that you stick your Wiimote in.

Its a horrible picture that just leaves me with my head down in shame of what Nintendo has done to my brain.

I didn't think building a PC was that difficult...mistake one.

I've decided to take on a task. A special task that many have done or failed.

Making a PC from scratch.

After my laptop became unsuable for a time, it may be saved now, I started using my mom's PC she uses every now and then. The machine is slow and a terror for a blogger like myself. It shut down on my when I do certian posts or play music and do various things at once because of over-heating.

The computer made me hit the breaking point and then it happened! I gained the brilliant idea of creating my own PC from scratch. I've been reading up on different how-to's for making a PC and I have to say, I am a little terrified at tall the details stated, but I know I can do it...hopefully.

iTunes 9 may have Blu-ray support and app organizing, along with s

Yesterday, The Boy Genius Report posted a story that when I first read the post's title, I was a little skeptical.

They state that they have a "pretty reliable source" who told them about three features in Apple iTunes 9, which doesn't have a public release date at the moment.

One feature is Blu-ray support. This feature can be held potentially true because apple is apparently integrating Blu-ray into their future iMac line-up, as stated by Apple Insider.

The next feature is the implication of app organizing and arranging for the iPhone and iTouch.

The last, but not least, feature posted was an unknown mix between Twitter, Facebook and Last.Fm. Boy Genius states a good idea that the three can probably be used to post what one may be listening to at that moment.

Lights of Love?

I read an article today on Switched that made me go "...what?..."

So I am no stranger to intimacy, so I know the different ways two lovers can express their love. Such expressions include a kiss and a hug or holding hands. Even technology has been involved in the game of love like special "toys" or even through cell phones or computers, but light as well?

Distance Labs has created the Mutsugoto. The Mutsugoto is a device that allows two people who are separated but still want that sensual feeling together to share their lovin all over their body with special rings they wear. These rings some how allow light to pass to one person and vise versa. The lights are some how an unusual way that a couple can find another way to make themselves and their other-half feel good all night.

Podcasts Save Lives Everyday

One thing that I can not live without are my podcasts.

Podcasts are like pre-recorded radio that one can download on the iTunes store. They are, besides my girlfriend, my DS Lite and coffee, the only things that make my day just that much bearable.

The first podcasts I ever listened to was Achievement Junkies, an Xbox 360 oriented podcast where two Xbox fans, one who worked for Microsoft at one point, talked Xbox news whether it be new releases and updates. I experienced people with new opinions about video games other than my own. It was also a chance for me to create ideas for arguments about the video game industry, which I was and still am a big fan of.

Through out the years I've found many characters in such podcasts such as the Giant Bomb podcast, CAG Cast, the Geekbox and Rebel FM.

Without podcasts, I'd probably go insane and probably hear what people are telling me. iPod is always in the ear, ya know.

Twitter went down. Couldn't tweet my sadness, till now anyway.

A surprise attack on Twitter, Facebook and LiveJournal by hackers left the social networking sites unusable for approximately three hours. Thankfully, they are back up at 1 p.m. The lack of tweeting stirred up panic attacks world wide...or at least in my world there were people falling on the floor crying for a tweet.

Apple flips off Google, says no voice for you!!!

Apple has denied Google Voice on their app store. Why would they do this?

An idea, made by TechCrunch, is a very sound one. They say that AT&T is to be blamed for the absence of Google Voice on the iPhone. They are frightened by the idea of FREE SMS MESSAGING and LOW-PRICED LONG-DISTANCE CALLING FEES OVER GOOGLE VOICE LINES.

Google is not giving up and will retaliate by making Voice a web-based application later in the year.

This is the second time Google has had it’s apps rejected by Apple, something smells funny and I think it’s one of the apples in the tree.

The Zii Egg Plaszma makes me want an omelette and a new music player

Last night I made a post about how my iPod Touch was the best gadget that I’ve ever laid hands on.

Today, my opinion just got a change of heart.

I was looking at Gizmodo today, reading their daily posts, and I found an article about the Zii Egg Plaszma by Creative.

This little machine has an advantage over the iPod Touch because it holds Android within its plastic (don’t quote me on the material of which its made of just yet) interior.

This little device seems to have all the functions to make me want to toss my iPod Tocuh away(or sell it in order to get the Zii).

Cnet also has a more indepth look at the Zii and its features.

The iPod Touch: My Life in the Palm of my Hand.

Recently, I flooded my Sony Vaio with a cup of my sweet elixir, coffee.

I never thought I would survive without my beloved laptop, until I realized my iPod Touch was a mini computer and my savior.

It allowed me to surf the web with Safari, even though I still Miss Firefox.

It holds all my precious music that I’ve accumulated for years. It also holds my podcasts that fill my day with commentary and news every morning and night.

All the apps make my day go as smooth as possible. These apps include mail, notes, the weather channel and games like flight control and drop 7.

This handy little took carries me through the day. This gadget is one of the best pieces of tech I’ve seen since the pc.

More than meets the...OMG!

Holy crap! Gizmodo posted some photos from Comic-Con today that totally blew my mind.

A woman created the most fantastic costume I’ve seen at any event like Comic-Con. It is Bumblebee from the recent live action Transformers films!

Europe given a Side of Browsers with their Windows 7

European Window 7 buyers get to rejoice as they indulge in the options they have to download browsers other than the pre-loaded Internet Explorer.

The European version of Windows 7 will give the users a choice of downloading a number of browsers, such as Firefox or Google Chrome, and disabling the default browser, Internet Explorer.

This move may just be made in order to ward off some heavy fines and an antitrust conviction from European officials.

Windows 7 will be launched on October 22nd and the update for this exclusive option will be launched shortly after, as stated by Bradford L. Smith, the general counsel of Microsoft.

Custom controller for Modern Warfare 2=AWESOME!

Robert Bowling, an employee at Infinity Ward, let out a tiny hint at a custom Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 controller in his twitter feed last week.

IGN obtained the tweet. The said statement entails "In a design meeting for a #MW2 controller. Need your advice - Concave or Convex grips for the Analog sticks? Whats your preference and why?"

What the controller would look like is anyone’s guess, but it will definitely be a great accessory for all the CoD: MW2 fans out there.

25-year-old commits suicide after iPhone Incident.

A 25-year-old man died because of a product a number of people use everyday, a cell phone.

Sun Danyong, a communications worker over at Foxconn, a development group owned by Apple, apparently committed suicide at his home after misplacing a prototype iPhone from a batch he was responsible for shipping.

After the disappearance of the handheld gadget, life got rough for Danyong. He was tortured and abused at work by security until finally he was found dead at his apartment after falling fourteen stories.

The security worker was suspended without pay and the police have this case under investigation.

The suicide could have bee caused, other than by the torture he obtained after the loss of the product, by the stress that lingered over his shoulders. The loss of this precious product could of caused a number, around the thousands, of jobs being lost and secrets being exposed to the public, which would cause massive problems for Apple and Foxcomm.
