Europe given a Side of Browsers with their Windows 7

European Window 7 buyers get to rejoice as they indulge in the options they have to download browsers other than the pre-loaded Internet Explorer.

The European version of Windows 7 will give the users a choice of downloading a number of browsers, such as Firefox or Google Chrome, and disabling the default browser, Internet Explorer.

This move may just be made in order to ward off some heavy fines and an antitrust conviction from European officials.

Windows 7 will be launched on October 22nd and the update for this exclusive option will be launched shortly after, as stated by Bradford L. Smith, the general counsel of Microsoft.
